Hello fellow pray-ers. I am blogging to let u know of a current situation that I am facing and asking for you to pray that God moves in a big way on our behalf.
My husband and I have been estranged for over a year. He gets a Veteran's Pension check every month and until yesterday, he was giving me money to support me and our son, who is still in high school. He informed me that he has had me removed me from his check and will no longer be giving me any support.
I have a claim filed with Social Security for disability due to my arthritis and fibromyalgia. The lawyers have requested a court date for an appeal as my claim was denied twice. I filed in October of 2007. The court date could be as late as the fall of 2010. In the meantime, I have been living on the money my husband provided.
I am contacting the SSI lawyers to determine whether or not I can break the contract I have with them. Then my doctor will have to release me to work.
Please pray that God's will be done in this situation and that I am able to withstand whatever that is and that I will not grow weary. He promises to take care of us and I know this is in His capable hands.
It is possible that I will have to cut off my internet service for some time. If you do not hear from me for a while, then that it why.
I pray daily for all on the prayer lists and blogs that I am a member of...on Twitter, too. I will continue to lift all of you before our Lord. He knows what the needs are, even if I can not get online to read them!
In order to keep from sinning and hating my husband, I pray and ask God to bless him daily. The Bible says we are to pray for our enemies and this man qualifies. The Bible also says that a man who does not provide for his family is worse than a traitor. Please join me in asking God to bless him daily.
I thank you for your time and heart for those who need prayer.
Be blessed~

Prayers needed~
Father, God in Heaven,
Our world is in such turmoil. There is pain and suffering everywhere. This morning I lift members, friends, and loved ones from all of the prayer groups on the Internet. Lord, you blessed us with this wonderful means of communication and I thank you for the opportunity to pray for your people.
Jeremy...bless and comfort him and his family during this time of loss. May they feel your presence as you hold them close to your heart.
Kenny and Carol(personal friends of my family)...Lord I know that you created us and that you intend that we walk in divine health and healing. I know that you do, indeed, work miracles on our behalf. Your will be done. I know this is doubly hard for the family as this is the second motorcycle wreck involving one of their daughters in 10 years. Comfort and guide them. Touch them, Lord.
In Jesus' name,
Amen

Law Of The Garbage Truck~
Joyce has given permission for fellow bloggers to post this. It is wonderful!
The Law of the Garbage Truck
One day I hopped in a taxi and we took off for the airport. We were driving in the right lane when suddenly a black car jumped out of a parking space right in front of us. My taxi driver slammed on his brakes, skidded , and missed the other car by just inches!
The driver of the other car whipped his head around and started yelling at us. My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy. And I mean he was really friendly. So I asked, “Why did you just do that? This guy almost ruined your car and sent us to the hospital!" This is when my taxi driver taught me what I now call, "The Law of the Garbage Truck."
He explained that many people are like garbage trucks. They run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, and full of disappointment. As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it and sometimes they'll dump it on you. Don't take it personally. Just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on. Don't take their garbage and spread it to other people at work, at home, or on the streets.
The bottom line is that successful people do not let garbage trucks take over their day. Life's too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so . . . . .
Love the people who treat you right. Pray for the ones who don't. Life is ten percent what you make it and ninety percent how you take it!
Have a blessed, garbage-free day.
*****
Personal Note: This reminds me of the time I found myself driving the wrong way in a McDonald's parking lot with a car full of kids. My mother had recently passed on, my marriage was a shambles, and I was stressed beyond measure. All I wanted to do was get some lunch for the kids. Needless to say, the gentleman who was going the right way in the parking lot had little patience or understanding of my mistake and made hand gestures at me while also hurling ugly words at me. In response I hollered,"God loves you!" Years later, Navy Man, reminded me of that day and said he was amazed at how I repsonded to the man. I told him you never know what the other fellow is going through, maybe he had just buried his own mother, too. It's true...we do not have to continue spreading other peoples garbage-or our own.

Beautiful Prayer~
Amias posted this beautiful prayer. Thank you, dear friend!
You said to ask, believing, and it shall be given unto me. I come to you, with bowed head, a humble heart, asking once again for your tender mercy. I beseech you Father, not for myself, but on behalf of Jeffery, Ed, Allen and their families. Father, they need your strength, and we pray for their healing. Only you know the depth of their suffering. Only you can heal them, if it be thou will. Have mercy on them dear God, wrap your love around them and please send them and their families peace; protect them Father. In your son’s name, I humbly pray - Aman.

Finally! First scrap book page:).
I finally did it! I made my first scrapbook page. Now I am stuck. Not sure about the lil tags on the dark blue. Love the way they look, but am thinking I should journal there instead. Opinions?
The other day, during one of our phone calls, My Beloved mentioned that our cell phones are our lifeline to one another. That struck a chord in me as it is quite true. I already had made two collage photos of sets of pictures we had sent each other on our phones. I am a sap like that:).

Online Treasure and Prayer Requests
"Ye have not because ye ask not." That was the response when I cried out to God that I needed help in carrying the burden of praying for healing for My Beloved. So...I asked!
Yesterday I was led to two incredible sites on the internet. The first one I told you about here.
Today I wish to tell you about an online treasure. The Prayer Hubs is an online group of like-minded individuals who believe in the power of prayer. I wrote to Amias and got a very quick response. After requesting additional information, he posted this.
I thank God that He is ever faithful. I thank God for Amias and the others at The Prayer Hub who have come along side me and now help carry my burden. I thank God that "By Christ's stripes My Beloved is healed!" I thank God that He has given me access to other people for whom I can now intercede.

Pray It-Say It~
I love reading other people's blogs! Today one of the ones I visited had a link to Pray It-Say It which is an awesome site for those of us who believe in the power of prayer. You type in the name of the person you wish to pray for, then click a category for your prayer, and the script generates personalized scriptures and a model prayer. There is also an option to send the person an e-card.
I have been steadily praying for My Beloved and his health issues, so I put in "Jeffrey" and clicked "Health". Here is what I got:
SCRIPTURES:
"You hear, O LORD, the desire of the afflicted; you encourage them, and you listen to their cry." Psalm 10:17 (NIV)
"For he has not despised or disdained the suffering of the afflicted one; he has not hidden his face from him but has listened to his cry for help." Psalm 22:24 (NIV)
"O Lord my God, I called to You for help and you healed me." Psalm 30:2 (NIV)
"Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD delivers him out of them all." Psalm 34:19 (NASB)
PRAYER:
Father, You formed us in our mother's womb and established the number of our days before there was even one of them. You are intimately acquainted with all of our ways, and nothing escapes Your notice.
Jesus, You are the Great Physician, and there is nothing too difficult for You. So I bring Jeffrey before You now, and ask that you would touch them with Your almighty power. Your word says that "You hear the desire of the afflicted; you encourage them, and you listen to their cry." Hear Jeffrey now, as they cry out to You and answer them in this time of need.
Touch their bodies Lord, with the strength they need to fight this condition that they may recover quickly. Your Word declares that it's by Your stripes that we are healed, so I take hold of that promise for Jeffrey right now, and I proclaim Your provision for their healing. Let Your peace overshadow them, and Your presence be their comfort at this time. I pray in Jesus' mighty name, Amen!
I have added the script to my sidebar. I hope it blesses you as much as it has me.
Be Blessed~

Fibromyalgia Awareness Day~
Today is Fibromyalgia Awareness Day! Being one of the many who battle fibro on a daily basis, I think spreading awareness of what it is and how it affects not only those who are afflicted but those who love them is crucial.
In my other blog I have 2 posts about my own personal struggle with fibromyalgia.
1. Aches, Pains, & Naps. Oh my!
2. Turning Over A Leaf.
This site is wonderful in helping spread the word about fibro.
Thanx, Storm!

Candle for Cure of Cancer~
Pray this simple prayer:
Dear God, I pray for the cure of cancer. Amen
A Candle Loses Nothing by Lighting Another Candle.
Send it on in memory of anyone you know who has been struck down by cancer or in honor of someone who is still living with it. You can do this by posting it in your blog, sending it in emails, using it as your siggie in forums. Got other ideas on how to pay this forward? Post them in the comment section.
If you are gonna pass this on, leave a link in the Mr. Linky:).

Wise man!
So many times when we are talking on the cell phone(which IS our lifeline) My Beloved describes the scenery where he is at. He tells me how beautiful it is and that he wishes I was there with him.
A few weekends ago he taught himself how to do text messaging so we would have another way of staying in touch.
Today he taught himself how to send pictures:).
This is what he sent me:
"Cause I am not there to bring you flowers..."
I do love a very priceless and wise man!

Sometimes...
Weekends seem to be particularly difficult for me. Can you suffer Empty Nest Syndrome when there are still kids living at home?
I am so tired of being depressed, sad, and lonely. I get so down and miserable and yet I do have God active, alive, and well in my life. What must it be like for those who do not?
I try to blog often, but most days it seems it would be futile. Who wants to hear about my depression? Aches? Pains? Thank God that He does not tire of me. When depression kicks in I can not operate in the love, grace, and mercy that I have been called to share with those around me.
The never-ending underlying theme is that I miss My Beloved and long to see him.I do realize he is only a man and that he makes it a priority to make certain that I know he thinks of me often. But, dammit, this is hard. I get, sad, lonely, fearful, and mad. Sometimes I just need a hug. Sometimes I need an "atta girl". Sometimes I need to look in the eyes where I am dancing in the fire. God's grace is sufficient and yet there are times when I need a physical presence.
I believe that God put the love I have carried for over 25 years for this man deep in the innermost recesses of my heart. I am grateful for that. I believe He has prepared me for a time such as this. I am grateful for that. I believe He will restore the years that the locusts ate away. I am grateful for that. I believe that same restoration has already begun.
I have things now that I did not have for 24 years. I have new memories. I have lots of wonderful photos...proof that I have not only seen him, but proof that I have even touched and been touched by him. I have the knowledge that he, too, carried me in the innermost recesses of his heart for all those lonely years. I am grateful for that.
I have a much deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. I am most grateful for that.
I also have new expectations. Perhaps therein lies my problem.

Pics from the weekend~UPDATE
I get my pics developed at WalMart because I can upload them to their photo site and then go pick them up in an hour. Considering that I am old enough to remember having to send rolls of film off to be developed and then waiting 7-10 days for my cherished pics to come back, I do love modern technology!
I played around with some of my favorite photos from my last trip across state lines and love the new & improved versions.

The Bible says* "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands."
This video is an incredible testimony to more of His handiwork.
